Uses IMAP with an App Password, not your regular Gmail password. Requires 2-Step Verification to be turned on for the account. Generate one at myaccount.google.com/apppasswords — a 16-character code, separate from your login password. Saved once (encrypted) per account, so you only enter it here the first time; every session after this just needs a click. You can connect more than one Gmail account and fetch from any of them.
+ Connect a mailbox via IMAP
For any mailbox that isn't Gmail — Outlook / Office 365, Zoho, hosted cPanel mail, etc. Needs the provider's IMAP host and port (Outlook / Office 365: outlook.office365.com, port 993) and, if the account uses 2-Step Verification / MFA, an app-specific password rather than the regular login password. Saved once (encrypted) per mailbox, so you only enter it here the first time. You can connect more than one mailbox and fetch from any of them.
